Jaafar shared photographs of his family’s beloved farm near Qasim city in Babylon province that became their place of refuge at the start of the US-led invasion of Iraq. The second photograph is of the marshes that southerners felt would always be available for refuge. The last photograph is of an ancient tool traditionally used to grind wheat called Chawan “چاون”.
